Cereals and granolas in shops are often packed with sugar. However, there is nothing better than a bowl of greek yoghurt, berries and granola! Therefore, I decided to make my own.
I mixed the follwing ingredients together:
3dl oats
1dl wheat bran
2 scoops of Fitness Guru Peanut Butter isolate protein powder
2 tbsp honey (or sugarfree syrup)
2 tbsp water
shredded coconut
sunflower seeds
walnut halves
I mixed everything until crumbly and then put it in a pre-heated oven at 180º for 12 minutes. I left it to cool completely until I stored it away. I chose not to add dried fruit as it increases the sugar content, but as an alternative this could be used instead of nuts and seeds. The granola has a lovely nutty taste and will be one of my regular treats!
