I made these gorgeous protein bars earlier. Protein bars are ridiculously expensive to buy, but you can make them relatively inexpensively at home. Chocolate isn't normally my favourite, but we're waiting for a new delivery from Fitness Guru so I had to make do with what we had at home.
2 scoops fitness guru chocolate protein
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter - crunchy
1 tablespoon honey or sugar free syrup
1 tablespoon fibre husk (can be excluded)
shredded coconut
I mixed everything but the coconut together until I had a sticky dough. Formed into bars, rolled in coconut and put them in the fridge to set for a couple of hours. Simple! To make it more chocolatey you could add cocoa powder or cocoa nibs.
